The general objective of this project is to contribute to the strengthening of governance mechanisms and the implementation of innovative initiatives in favor of the inclusion of young people.

The specific objective of this project is to :

• Strengthen the governance mechanisms of the Department of Youth relating to the legal, strategic and organizational aspects related to the positioning of the department, coordination of interventions and convergence of the programs of the various ministerial departments in the youth sector;
• Support the Departme nt in the development and management of innovative initiatives allowing the social and economic inclusion of young people.

In achieving the objectives, the action will be based on relevant practices in the Member States of the European Union and on Community policies in the field.
The components and the required mandatory results are listed below:

Component 1: Support for the strengthening of governance mechanisms relating to legal and organizational aspects, positioning of the department, coordination of interventions and convergence of ministerial programs in the youth sector :

• Result 1 The legislative and regulatory framework for steering and intersectoral coordination for youth is upgraded;
• Result 2 The Department’s organizational and institutional capacities for coordination and convergence are strengthened;
• Result 3 Intersectoral coordination mechanisms are strengthened;
• Result 4 The capacities of executives involved in governance, coordination of youth integration programs are strengthened.

Component 2: Support the development of innovative initiatives allowing the social and economic inclusion of young people:

• Result 5 The transfer of know-how relating to best practices and methodological tools for piloting youth integration initiatives is ensured
• Result 6 An innovative and rapid initiative for the inclusion of young people is deployed

The components will be implemented through studies (benchmarking, diagnostics, impact, etc.), training, seminars, workshops, etc.
