The European Commission’s European Civil protection and Humanitarian aid Operations (ECHO), funds relief operations for victims of natural disasters and conflicts outside the European Union. For humanitarian aid, the Commission works with about 200 operational partners, including United Nation agencies, the Red Cross/Crescent movement and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Aid is channelled impartially, straight to victims, regardless of their race, ethnic group, religion, gender, age, nationality or political affiliation.

The ECHO Regional Office in Amman, which is covering the ME region; is seeking to recruit one national staff to be based in Amman for the following position of: ICT Manager

As a part of the Jordan country team, the ICT Manager will oversee all ICT services in the ME region, ensuring that operation of systems and network administration (LAN, WAN and internet connectivity) is stable. This includes installation, configuration, maintenance, support and optimisation of all hardware, network, software and communication links. The ICT Manager will also solve the end-user software problems in a timely and accurate, and provide training to the end user when necessary.
