TunisiaFacilitators in support to the regional coordination of the EU funded support programme for civil society in Morocco
The Civil Society Support Programme in Morocco, with a 36-month implementation period, is funded by the European Union with an EU contribution of EUR 15 million (EUR 12,550 million managed by the Agency of the Nation United Nations UNOPS in delegated cooperation). The action started in January 2018 and aims to animate and develop the role of civil society in the development and monitoring of public policies, to test the new tools of participatory democracy and to anchor their participation in the framework of the process of advanced regionalization initiated in Morocco, in three priority themes: youth, the environment and gender equality; and at the same time, to decentralize EU support by making it more accessible, more visible and more connected to the realities of the territories. Regional offices have been set up in the 4 intervention regions of this program. UNOPS is seeking to recruit facilitators to be assigned to the program’s implementation regions (Souss-Massa, Oriental, Casablanca-Settat and Tangier-Tetouan-Al-Hoceima).
