Three online training sessions on “Sustainable Tourism Destination Management” and dedicated to adventure tourism stakeholders in Tunisia will be organised on 1-17 December in Tunisia. This training is held in the framework of the EU-funded MEDUSA project.

The training aims to enhance knowledge and capacities about destination management and adventure tourism of stakeholders working in the pilot areas of Ben Arous, Gabes and Medenine.

The sessions are scheduled as follows: 1-3 December in Ben Arous, 9-11 December in Gabes and 15-17 December in Medenine.

The EU-funded MEDUSA project aims to tackle the challenges faced by the Mediterranean tourism sector (growing competition, deterioration of the political and security situation, etc) via targeted and inter-related capacity building and cross-border interventions to develop and promote adventure tourism in the region. It will contribute to job creation and income for local communities in the medium and long term. Moreover, the project has the potential to reveal lesser-known destinations and attract tourists throughout the year.
