Cultural cooperation and future projects were at the centre of the meeting yesterday between the EU ambassador to Tunisia, Patrice Bergamini, and the Tunisian Minister of Cultural Affairs, Ms. Shiraz Laâtiri.
Ambassador Bergamini renewed the EU’s commitment to supporting culture in Tunisia, especially in priority areas such as heritage, cultural heritage and cultural industries. In particular, new projects have been discussed in relation to culture, as well as projects aiming at supporting youth creativity and promoting education in arts and culture throughout the country.
