TunisiaSafir: applications for Incubation Programme now open
The EU-funded Safir project launched its third call for applications directed towards young people who lead a project with social, cultural or environmental impact.
The 90 young people selected will be supported by Safir’s 7 partner incubators.
Programme :
- 6 months of incubation (from Mid-September 2021 to Mid-March 2022) for 90 young project leaders
- 6 months of acceleration (from Mid-March to Mid-September 2022) for at least 45 young project leaders, with a grant up to 25 000 euros
- Travel and networking opportunities
Safir is an ambitious project supporting youth and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 9 countries across North Africa and the Middle East. Co-funded by the European Union, it aims at creating an enabling environment in favour of youth participation and of the development of entrepreneurial projects with social, cultural and environmental impact.
Safir is built around 3 pillars: to provide support to more than 1,000 young project leaders, to develop a regional network of organisations supporting social entrepreneurship, and to accompany the creation of spaces for dialogue between youth and governmental authorities.
