Nabil Al Sharif starts his mission as Anna Lindh Foundation’s Executive Director

The Anna Lindh Foundation, the international organisation that leads the largest civil society and youth-led network of its kind working for Mediterranean dialogue and conflict prevention, has welcomed its new Executive Director, Dr Nabil Al-Sharif.

Working from the Foundation Headquarters in Alexandria, Al Sharif joins the global leadership team of the Foundation at a strategic moment in its history as it marks 15 years since its creation along with the expansion of its programming, global partnerships and centres of excellence with its civil society Networks.

The Anna Lindh Foundation for Inter-Cultural Dialogue promotes knowledge, mutual respect and inter-cultural dialogue between the people of the Euro-Mediterranean region, working through a network of more than 3,000 civil society organisations in 43 countries. Its budget is co-funded by the EU (€10 million) and the EU Member States (€6 million).
