Nasreen and Rayna are both from Akkar, Lebanon. The two young women share a common drive to foster solidarity between refugees and local communities. Through the FURSA project, funded by the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis, they both undertook trainings on social leadership.

Just like many other involved in this beautiful project, Nasreen and Rayna believe that social cohesion and dialogue are best channeled through arts and media. This is why they have heartily engaged in the organisation of creative and fun activities to strengthen the exchange between Syrian and Lebanese youth.

This initiative is part of the Search For Common Ground Project, funded by the EU Regional Trust Fund. The project helps 18,500 Syrian refugees and local youth get jobs and live together in harmony in Iraq, Lebanon and Turkey.
