The European Union participated in the Conference of Rectors, Vice Chancellors and Presidents of African Universities (COREVIP), which is in line with the EU's support to the education, vocational and technical education sectors in Egypt.
Over EUR 150 million were deploied to boost the development, competitiveness, as well as enhance stability, prosperity and job creation for youth, reiterating that educational bridges fill the gap amongst nations. This is in line with the African continent's quest to promote integration and diversity in education.
There is a strong commitment from the EU, the African Union, and international institutions to provide full support for higher education. The EU has partnered with 110 universities from 25 African countries to promote innovation, scientific development and training to bridge the gap between Africa and Europe.
