The EU deploys its External Investment Plan in Morocco

The European Union’s External Investment Plan (EIP) in Morocco was launched yesterday morning June 19th in the presence of Mr Kohler, Director-General for Neighbourhood South of the European Commission.

The goal is to support the Kingdom in building a strong, inclusive and sustainable economy. Thereby the first investments in Morocco via the PIE will be launched.

The EIP was first established in September 2017 to help boost investment in EU partner countries in Africa and the European neighborhood. It aims to foster investments that promote inclusive growth, job creation and sustainable development.
