TunisiaEU Delegation in Tunisia launches European Week
In the framework of the European Week in Tunisia from 8 to 17 June, the Delegation of the European Union to Tunisia is organising several cultural events. The European Week in Tunisia is honouring culture and heritage: music, handicraft, design and fashion are on the agenda.
The European cinema marks its return with the European Film Festival at the “Cité de la Culture” from 10 to 16 June. The Screen of the “Cinémathèque Tunisienne” will be an open window on Europe, a passport towards the old continent’s cinemas, languages and cultures. Twelve movies representing sixteen European countries were chosen among the best recent European productions.
The European Week includes as well other events such as:
- The European Nights from 8 to 15 June in Jerba, Gabès, Le Kef and La Goulette.
- The Forum “Convergences Tunisie 2019” around the theme “Social Solidarity Economy and Transitions”.
