Between June 11th and 13th, 2019, (AWEX) – the Wallonia Export-Investment Agency – hosted the visit of the Centre for the Promotion of Tunisian Exports (CEPEX) for a technical exchange.

As a member of the ANIMA network – Cooperation platform for economic development in the Mediterranean, AWEX and CEPEX develop their cooperation through the peer learning programme, co-funded by the EU EBSOMED initiative.

For three days, CEPEX objective was to learn from AWEX experience and expertise in export support and internationalization of Wallonia companies by getting familiar with the European tools and programs for trade support, notably through coaching programs and working sessions : the debates were oriented towards improving the existing offers through the exchange of good practices and personalized recommendations to enhance business support efficiency. Throughout document analysis, service presentations and debriefing sessions, AWEX and CEPEX discussed business strategy organizations, network management and synergy with existing networks, in the context of an internationalized export business.
