The Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators to organise its general assembly and workshop

On 18 and 19 June, MEDREG will hold its 27th General Assembly in Tirana (Albania) to discuss the progress of the activities delivered under the Action Plan 2019, the cooperation with external partners and the organisation’s strategy for 2020-2022, among other things. The General Assembly will be preceded by a workshop, jointly organised by MEDREG and the Energy Community Regulatory Board (ECRB) on the future of net-metering and renewable energy support auction mechanism in the MEDREG and ECRB regions.

MEDREG is the Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators, which brings together 27 regulators from 23 countries, spanning the European Union (EU), the Balkans and North Africa. Mediterranean regulators work together to promote greater compatibility of the regional energy markets and legislation, seeking progressive market integration in the Euro-Mediterranean basin.

The Association is co-funded by the European Union and benefits from the financial contribution of its members.
