The EU Neighbours portal is part of the EU Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) that builds on the achievements of the OPEN Neighbourhood Programme (2015-2020) and the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre project (2009 -2015). The four-year programme seeks to raise awareness, increase knowledge and understanding of the European Neighbourhood Policy.
