This project (Component 1 of the EU4Youth programme) aims at empowering young people with key competences and skills supporting their active participation in democratic life, citizenship, entrepreneurship and leadership, with capacity building actions targeting youth organisations, youth workers and leaders.
The project’s objectives aim to:
- Support young people in becoming participants in democratic, social and economic life;
- Promote entrepreneurship, education, and social entrepreneurship among young people.
Actions in brief
The project is focused on capacity building of young people through two main sub-actions: Civil Society Fellowships for Youth and Partnership for Entrepreneurships.
Civil Society Fellowships for Youth:
Capacity building projects supporting youth organisations to become active participants in policy-development and policy making. Selected young leaders (the 'Fellows') take part in mobility activities and work in the EU.
Partnership for Entrepreneurships:
These transnational projects are based on multilateral partnerships between organisations. The involvement of the private sector and educational institutions is particularly important.
As a result of the three calls for proposals, the EU has awarded 102 projects worth a total of €11,084,551.13, of which 59 fall under the sub-action ‘Civil Society Fellowships’ and 43 under ‘Partnership for Entrepreneurships’.
The project is implemented by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) under Erasmus+ Key Action 2: Capacity Building in the Field of Youth.Print pdf
