The EU4Business SMEDA project is supporting the fourth Start-up Boost Weekend in Armenia from 22-24 February, 2019. This time, the weekend will be held at the Yerevan State University for around 120 students from a total of 6 partner universities.
The Start-up Boost Weekend is aimed to promote entrepreneurial thinking among students. During the three-day event, students from different universities will have the opportunity to work together, create teams, generate ideas and try to implement them through integration into start-up culture. Participants will have a chance to meet and work with experienced mentors, entrepreneurs, and investors, and pitch their idea to an experienced jury. The best projects will be awarded with prizes.
The event is a unique opportunity for students with different skills – software developers, designers, entrepreneurs, marketers, product managers, start-up enthusiasts – to come together to team up and build new start-ups.
Start-up Boost Weekend is an event for the start-up community aiming at boosting entrepreneurship skills among university students. It is organised by Catalyst Foundation in partnership with Armenian universities and supported by EU-SMEDA project for the fourth time already.
The EU4Business SMEDA (Support to SME Development in Armenia) project supports the improvement of the business and investment climate for SMEs in Armenia.
