EU4Youth is launching a call for interest to join its new Innovation Knowledge Hubs in three municipalities of Georgia, Gori, Ninotsminda and Akhmeta.

The call is organised by CENN (the Caucasus Environmental NGO Network) as part of the ‘EU4Youth: Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development for Green Growth’ project, in partnership with the Kakheti Regional Development Fund (KRDF), Society Development Association, ‘Biliki’ Society, and Ninotsminda Youth Centre.

The Innovation Knowledge Hubs are aimed at young people between the ages of 14 and 29, including NEETs (‘Not in Education, Employment, or Training’), ecomigrants, people with disabilities, local youth from borderline communities, ethnic minorities, women and girls, and other vulnerable groups of young people living in Gori, Ninotsminda and Akhmeta Municipalities. They focus on innovative green ideas in social entrepreneurship.

The hubs provide young people with a space that is fully equipped with computer facilities, such as printers, TVs, and computers, as well as the opportunity to attend meetings, trainings and activities focused on personal development.

Within the scope of the Innovation Knowledge Hubs, vulnerable youth are supported in implementing activities and environmental campaigns related to capacity building in their communities. Apart from self-organised activities, young people will be able to attend trainings on the following topics:

•               Social and Green Entrepreneurship

•               Circular Economics

•               Digital Technologies

•               Innovation and Creative Thinking

•               Climate Change

•               Sustainable Development

•               Employability, etc.

If you are willing to join all the ongoing activities carried out in the hubs, please follow the link and fill out the member registration form.

Regarding the selection process, people living in Gori, Municipality or Ninotsminda Municipalities will be prioritised. Personal motivation is defined as the main criteria for selecting a hub member.

If you or your organisation, school, university/college, or initiative group have a desire to use the Innovation Knowledge Hubs and their resources for implementing your initiatives, meetings, and thematic trainings, please follow the link and fill out the application form.

Considering the current COVID-19 situation, all activities will initially be organised online.
