We are seeking applications for 14 places reserved for students from across Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia (MA and advanced BA level) in a DAAD-funded international workshop with students from Germany to be held at the Ilia State University in Tbilisi from 11 to 16 March 2019. The workshop will consist of three main blocs:
- an intercultural competence workshop to facilitate communication across cultural divides;
- a teaching bloc on identity and conflict as well as the EU and conflict transformation;
- a group exercise to develop scenarios for conflict resolution in the South Caucasus
The workshop will be led by staff from the University of Tübingen in collaboration with colleagues from Ilia State University (faculty.iliauni.edu.ge) and Seminars Simulations Consulting (SSC) Europe (www.ssc-europe.eu). We expect participants to be present throughout the entire duration of the workshop and to participate actively in all sessions.
