The European Education Center (EEC) – is Georgian, non-political, non-profit association, which embraces over hundreds of Georgian students/volunteers, researchers and civic activists. The main aim of this organization is to study European policies, to share and promote European values, and to increase civic engagement activities, youth entrepreneurship, and local engagement.
This year, the EEC will host the 5th edition of the conference "European Study Trip" which will take place in Brussels & The Hague on 15-19 October. The conference will focus on exploring the European Union, its institutions, and EU policies in the different fields. The programme will consist of a variety of lectures, expert panels, and meetings with EU officials in the heart of Europe.
The main aim of the "European Study Trip" is to build stronger bridges between young people from EU Members States and the Neighbourhood countries, strengthening people-to-people connections, and discussing European policies.
Participants of the project will furthermore have the possibility to visit one or more of the following EU institutions and International Law Courts:
- European Parliament
- European Commission
- European External Action Service
- European Economic and Social Committee
- Committee of Regions
- Council of the European Union
- International Criminal Court
