As part of the EU4Youth project, ‘SAY YES – Skills for Jobs’, World Vision Armenia announces a call for business concepts for young people aged 20-35 in communities living in the areas of Gavar, Ararat, Stepanavan and Alaverdi. The aim of the project is to increase entrepreneurial capacities of youth, through training, funding and incubation of the best business models.
The deadline for applications is 13 July.
There will be a three-layer selection process to fund the best business models,
- First shortlist of the business concepts based on applicants’ experience/expertise in the given field, applicants’ past/present experience, engagement in business, applicants’ age, as well as justified viability of the business idea, etc.
- Second shortlist, after participation in entrepreneurship training and elaboration of the business canvas. The selection will be made by a professional team of experts, and the main criteria will be viability of the business and commitment of the applicant, etc.
- Third shortlist of the full business plans. The selection will be made based on the professional committee’s decision, considering viability of the business, budget, financial contribution of the applicant, etc.
The ‘EU4Youth SAY YES – Skills for Jobs’ project, funded by the EU as part of the EU4Youth Initiative, contributes to the (self)-employability of young women and men aged between the ages of 15 and 35 in Armenia and Georgia, particularly those with fewer opportunities and from the most vulnerable groups. It is implemented in Armenia by World Vision Armenia.
