On 12 September, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) from Georgia will join efforts with the “Knowledge Cafe” social enterprise in the Georgian town of Tsnori, Kakheti region, to organise orientation days and informal seminars for youth in the region.
The YEAs will share their experience of participating in extracurricular activities and prepare an informative session about opportunities available to Georgian youth through various EU-funded initiatives, projects and programmes. The YEAs will also use their experience of conducting workshops on composing CVs and motivational letters and share some tips with local students.
The workshop is part of the youth, education and innovation campaign being run by the EU Neighbours east project in the six Eastern Neighbourhood countries during September and October. More information on the event can be found here.
The Knowledge Café is a social enterprise run by local volunteers in Tsnori. Information about its concept is available here.
The “Young European Ambassadors” initiative aims to foster cooperation and sustainable links between young people and youth organisations from the EU and its Eastern partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
The YEAs are the driving force of the “Young European Neighbours” network, an online platform facilitating the mutual exchange of ideas and information on the EU, as well as the engagement of young people in informative activities.
The network is focused on dialogue-driven activities that contribute to a greater awareness and improved perception of the EU, and the enhanced assessment of its relations with the Eastern Neighbourhood.
