On 3-4 October, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Ukraine participated in the EU Networks Forum, organised by the EU Delegation to Ukraine and taking place in the country’s capital of Kyiv.

For the second year, this annual event brought together representatives of Euroclubs, EU information centres, alumni of EU educational programmes and YEAs as well as activists and experts from all over Ukraine who work with the EU Delegation to the country.

During the two-day event the participants touched on education, reforms and innovations in Ukraine within a panel discussion titled ‘Ukraine-EU in the era of changes.’ YEAs actively took part in groups where they communicated with their peers from other organisations and exchanged ideas and experiences related to the future development of EU networks in Ukraine.

The ‘Young European Ambassadors initiative aims to foster cooperation and sustainable links between young people and youth organisations from the EU and its Eastern partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

The YEAs are the driving force of the ‘Young European Neighbours’ network, an online platform facilitating the mutual exchange of ideas and information on the EU, as well as the engagement of young people in informative activities.

The network is focused on dialogue-driven activities that contribute to a greater awareness and improved perception of the EU, and the enhanced assessment of its relations with the Eastern Neighbourhood.
