Young people aged 20-35 from the EU and Belarus are invited to participate in “ReThink Belarus”, a one-week summer camp that will be organised this year in a village not far from the country’s capital Minsk.
The camp’s participants will be able to learn more about Belarus and contribute to a discussion on sustainable promotion of information about the country in the EU. The camp programme will open the floor for a debate on stereotypes and self-reflection on different examples of the country’s image.
In addition to the discussion on different spheres of life in today's Belarus, participants will help the local community to arrange an old school building for the establishment of a social project. They will also meet experts on economy, politics and history and engage in informal activities aiming at providing a better understanding of Belarusian culture.
The cost of participation for the selected candidates will be covered by the organisers. Information on eligibility criteria is available here and the application form can be found here. Applications are open until 26 May.
