The results of the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement during 2018 were discussed in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on 18 February.
According to Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, 2018 became the first year of the full implementation of the Association Agreement. She added that the agreement was “52% completed”.
The report presented during the event states that the biggest achievements made by Ukraine were in the areas of entrepreneurship, agriculture, reduction of technical barriers in trade, social politics and labour relations, as well as the financial and energy sectors.
The event was organised within the EU-funded “Association4U” project, together with the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine and the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
