‘Transition to a fair, sustainable and green economy’ will be the focus of the Model EU Council (MEUC) role-play simulation organised in Azerbaijan on 6-7 December.
Anyone with fluent English, strong motivation to learn, an interest in EU affairs and a desire to contribute to solving global issues has until 21 November to apply to take part in the MEUC.
The successful applicants will gain a better understanding of the EU decision-making process, be challenged multiple ways and develop various soft skills such as public speaking, working as a team under pressure and negotiating.
MEUC is a role-play simulation of EU Council meetings where delegates from the EU member states represent the interests of their countries and hold discussions focused on policy issues concerning the EU and its Member States.
This event is organised by Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) from Azerbaijan.
The YEA initiative aims to foster cooperation and sustainable links between young people and youth organisations from the EU and its Eastern partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
