Civil society activists, web designers and tech professionals from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will have a chance to participate in the 2020 Eastern Partnership Civil Society Hackathon that will be organised on 3–5 April in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
For three days, around 60 civil society activists and tech professionals will work together on digital solutions that would enable civil society organisations to better serve the needs of their communities, and help citizens participate in decision-making.
The best idea at the Hackathon will be nominated for the Civil Society Digitalisation Award and will receive support of up to €10,000 for its full development and launch.
Those interested in applying to participate in the Hackathon should register online before the following deadlines:
- 17 February 2020 – for civil society activists with ideas for digital solutions;
- 16 March 2020 – for tech professionals, graphic and web designers.
