Doctoral students and early-career scholars specialising in EU or EU-Eastern Partnership topics are invited to apply to participate in the EU-Eastern Partnership Academy. The event will be held on 11–15 February 2019 in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.

The Academy will address core questions related to the role of the EU in Eastern Europe, explore different aspects of the relations between the EU and respective Eastern Partner countries, update on the implementation of Association Agreements and cover other issues.

It will combine a series of inspiring lectures with soft skills workshops, dynamic group activities, and individual presentations of research projects. A special session will focus on Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Activities to encourage the participation of young scholars.

Participation is free of charge. The Jean Monnet Project will provide a number of scholarships for citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, covering travel, accommodation and meals.

The application deadline is 18 November 2018. More information on eligibility criteria and how to apply can be found here (in Ukrainian) and here (in English).
