On 22 November, 11 Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) from the Republic of Moldova visited the village of Lozova, Strășeni district, to talk to local youth about the opportunities available to them through various EU programmes, projects and initiatives.

The event was organised in a ‘speed dating’ format. A spinning wheel was used to select general questions about EU-funded opportunities. In the second session, the participants were divided into six groups, each joined by a YEA who shared his or her experience.

As a result of this activity, pupils from Strășeni district became more aware about the EU-funded opportunities available to them.

The Young European Ambassadors initiative aims to foster cooperation and sustainable links between young people and youth organisations from the EU and its Eastern Partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
