On 3 November, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) from Georgia will co-organise an event to raise awareness among young women about studying opportunities in the EU.
The YEAs were inspired by a recently created and widely popular women’s support club in Georgia, where several young women share their stories and seek advice.
After careful observation, YEAs have realised that most women are not aware of how to gain more experience, study abroad or in general, become more independent and self-confident.
This event will offer a platform for students who aim to learn about such opportunities and representatives of several EU-funded educational programmes will be able to share information and tips on what these programmes offer and how to apply.
Young European Ambassadors will organise an event to present EU opportunities to around 400 young women. After a presentation that will last 2 hours, beneficiaries will have the opportunity to ask questions and introduce themselves, get individual advice and look at the display stands.

The Young European Ambassadors initiative aims to foster cooperation and sustainable links between young people and youth organisations from the EU and its Eastern partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
The YEAs are the driving force of the ‘Young European Neighbours’ network, an online platform facilitating the mutual exchange of ideas and information on the EU, as well as the engagement of young people in informative activities.
The network is focused on dialogue-driven activities that contribute to a greater awareness and improved perception of the EU, and the enhanced assessment of its relations with the Eastern Neighbourhood.
