The EU4Youth project on 23 April launched a new rural innovation knowledge hub in Gori, with the support of the Caucasus Environmental NGO Network (CENN) and the Biliki Society.
The goal of the Innovation Knowledge Hub is to empower young people at local level and promote their social and green entrepreneurship development. The hub is a youth workspace that will be accessible to young people living in the Shida Kartli region. It will regularly host environmental and youth campaigns, and beneficiaries will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from various fields and hold public discussions and educational events.
The launch event highlighted the steps taken by CENN and the Biliki Society to engage young people in entrepreneurial and educational activities, as well as visit the exhibition of the EU-supported Youth Climate Change Competition.
The Innovation Knowledge Hub was created as part of the EU-funded project ‘EU4Youth: Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development (SEED) for Green Growth’, implemented by CENN in partnership with KRDF and Green Lane (Armenia). The aim of the project is to discover the entrepreneurial potential in the most vulnerable municipalities and to promote entrepreneurship opportunities among youth.
