Georgia: EU to present Human Rights in Film Award 2018 at Tbilisi International Film Festival

For the second year, the EU, in collaboration with Tbilisi International Film Festival, will award the “EU Human Rights in Film Award” to honour the best film that raises the profile of human rights.

The award was established in connection with Human Rights Day, which is celebrated annually on 10 December.

Seven films focusing on human rights are nominated for the prize. The winner will be selected by a special jury and awarded at the closing ceremony of the festival, which will take place on 8 December 2018 at the Amirani Cinema in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.
