This week, the Belarusian capital of Minsk is hosting its fourth Entrepreneurship Week. The event started on 18 March and will last until 24 March. It will include roundtable meetings and panel discussions on topical issues related to the business community in Belarus. Participants also have chance to join in training seminars and conferences, field-specific sessions and speeches from some of the country’s top managers and business leaders.
The agenda also includes issues such as accessibility of financial instruments for business development, foreign economic activities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and their role in the development of the region, and issues related to the legal regulation of SMEs.
The EU supports SME development in Belarus through projects implemented under its EU4Business initiative, through which SMEs can benefit from EU-funded financial and advisory tools.
