On 21 May, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra (ASSO) and the EU Delegation to the country organised a Europe Day concert.

Ludwig van Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, including its best-known "Ode to Joy" in its fourth and final movement was performed. To welcome the guests, the EU Ambassador Piotr Świtalski made an opening speech and read a piece from Paghtasar Dpir’s Ode to Joy poem in Armenian.

The concert is dedicated to the Europe Day celebrations taking place in the country during May.
