The EU4Youth project ‘Fostering Potential for Greater Employability’ organised a meeting with stakeholders in Tbilisi on 4 November to share the finding of a Labour Market Analysis it has conducted in Georgia.

The Labour Market Analysis was conducted in 2018-2019 by the Danish research company ‘Connectio’, to highlight the needs and challenges of the private sector, as well as young people themselves and to elaborate relevant recommendations.

Since 2018, the Georgia Red Cross Society has been implementing the EU4Youth project in target Municipalities (Senaki, Zugdidi, Khelvachauri/Batumi), funded by the European Union and supported by the Danish Red Cross.

EU4Youth: fostering potential for greater employability is implemented in Armenia, Belarus and Georgia and aims to contribute to improve educational opportunities and to develop the potential of youth, support access to employment of marginalised youth groups through partnerships, targeted skills development and promotion of entrepreneurship, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
