On 20–21 May, Armenian entrepreneurs learned about new technologies and trends in fruit drying during a workshop in the country’s capital of Yerevan.
The seminar aimed to introduce Armenian dried fruit producers to advanced methods for fruit treatment before and after drying. It also focused on packaging and new product development. The theoretical part of the training was followed by practical exercises at a local dried fruit producer.
The workshop was organised within the EU-supported “Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade” project, funded by the European Union, under the EU4Business initiative.
The EU-funded Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade project helps small and medium-sized enterprises to access new markets with a focus on the EU, helping them identify and comply with quality and standards to meet international requirements, linking them with buyers along the value chain, and providing cluster support.
