EU supports discussion on migration and border management in Armenia

On 19 October, the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, participated in the Strategic Planning Workshop of the State Revenue Committee which was organised within the framework of the EU-funded ‘Support to Migration and Border Management in Armenia’ (MIMBA) project.

The workshop was held in the city of Gyumri. It brought together more than 100 customs officers to discuss the 2020­–2024 draft Strategy and Action Plan of the State Revenue Committee and ensure its policy alignment with other main sectoral strategies, such as economic development and anti-corruption.

Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also attended the event and delivered an opening speech.
