Journalists in Georgia have time until 15 October to submit their works for consideration under the EU Prize for Journalism 2019. Run by the EU Delegation to Georgia and the EU Monitoring Mission, the award supports professional and ethical journalism in the country.

Conducted for eight years already, the 2019 prize will be awarded to winners in seven categories for journalistic works.

The EU Delegation to Georgia has shared an interview with last year’s winner of the prize on its Facebook page. Its inspiring story showcases how the EU encourages professionalism and ethical conduct in Georgian journalism.

More information on the categories and how to submit your journalistic works can be found here.
