Journalists in Georgia have time until 15 October to submit their works for consideration under the EU Prize for Journalism 2019. Run by the EU Delegation to Georgia and the EU Monitoring Mission, the award supports professional and ethical journalism in the country.
Conducted for eight years already, the 2019 prize will be awarded to winners in seven categories for journalistic works.

The EU Prize for Journalism encourages professionalism and ethical conduct in Georgian journalism by recognising the best works in print, broadcasting, online and photo journalism. The special prize from the EUMM is designed for conflict-sensitive journalism contributing to confidence building and peace.
