On 29 October, experts from Austria, Belgium, Italy and Malta will meet online with representatives from several Ukrainian ministries to discuss the EU’s legislation for assessing creative industries’ economic and social impact. The aim is to define a methodological framework of culture analysis in Ukraine based on best EU practices.

In the workshop, Ukrainian officials will have the opportunity to learn how the economic impact of creative industries is assessed in the EU, how often culture-related analytical data should be collected and in what form, and how to consider the unobserved economy in the policymaking process.

The workshop is organised by the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange (TAIEX) instrument of the European Commission and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
