On 8-9 November, the Austrian capital of Vienna hosted the “Youth for Entrepreneurship” conference. Organised by the EU’s Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, the event gathered over 100 young entrepreneurs from the Eastern Partner (EaP) countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine).
The event will gather around 130 participants, including 90 young people with entrepreneurial ideas. The idea of the conference builds on the previous work and commitments, especially regarding the EaP’s Platform 4 (“Mobility and People to People Contacts”) and Deliverable 18 of the EaP’s 20 Deliverables for 2020.
This was the second Eastern Partnership Youth Conference after the 2016 edition, entitled “Youth for Rights”, which took place in Bratislava, Slovakia and was organised by the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum with the support of the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Commission.
