Researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs and policy-makers from five Eastern Neighbourhood countries (Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine) are invited to apply for the last round of the call for ‘Grants for networking’ in Brokerage Events or Preparatory Meetings.

This call for grants was announced through the EU-funded Eastern Partnership PLUS project (EaP PLUS).

The grants for networking call financially supports the participation of local researchers from the region in Brokerage Events related to Horizon 2020 and Preparatory Meetings for the development of project proposals within this programme.

The aim of the grant scheme is to extend scientific networks between EU Member States/non-EaP associated countries and Eastern Neighbourhood countries, as well to increase the number of participants in submitted Horizon 2020 project proposals. To this end, the scheme will financially support researchers in the Eastern Neighbourhood from the research sphere, small and medium-sized businesses, industry and higher educational institutions, as well as representatives of civil society and local authorities.

The application deadline is 30 May 2019.

The EaP PLUS project aims to stimulate cooperation between researchers from the Eastern Partner countries and EU Member States, and enhance the active participation of the Eastern Neighbourhood countries in the Horizon 2020 framework programme.
