On 9–10 August, experts from Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia and Romania will visit Belarus to discuss customs controls done both before and after the release of goods by the country’s State Customs Committee and its regional offices.

They will touch upon several issues, including identifying customs offenses before the release of goods, conducting radiation control and undertaking customs controls after the release of goods. During the two-day workshop, experts from Europe will share the experiences of EU Member States.

The event has been organised by the European Commission’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX) in cooperation with the Customs Service of the Republic of Belarus.
