Young people from Azerbaijan are invited to take part in the fourth edition of the EuroSchool, taking place from 27 to 29 August 2019, in one of the country’s regions. The respective call for applications was recently announced by the EU Delegation to the country.
Participants will have a chance to experience an interactive educational environment and learn more about the EU, its history, fundamental principles and values, the process of alignment and legislative harmonisation, issues of energy and environment, European Neighbourhood Policy, the Eastern Partnership initiative and EU-Azerbaijan relations.
The EuroSchool also aims at providing the younger generation with a comprehensive understanding of the functioning of the EU institutions in order to promote dialogue, co-operation and mutual respect among young people, to raise awareness of the EU’s role in Azerbaijan, as well as to improve people-to people contacts between the EU and Azerbaijan.
The programme will include a number of interactive sessions, discussions with Azerbaijani and European trainers, and social activities. The application deadline is 7 August. More information on the eligibility criteria and how to apply can be found on the website of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan.
