In June, a number of training seminars were conducted in Azerbaijan to ensure teachers’ capacity for inclusive education. The programme focuses on the organisation of inclusive in-class training and is being organised in preparation for the next academic year.
Around 300 primary school teachers have so far attended the training seminars in Baku, Sheki, Guba, Aghjabadi, Shamakhi and Jalilabad.
This activity is being organised within a project aimed at “Ensuring Teachers' Readiness for Inclusive Education”, which is being implemented by the Regional Development Public Union, a non-governmental organisation active under the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
