The aim of the event is to share experiences and expertise on the recognition of academic degrees and ways of aligning relevant legislation in the context of the Salzburg ten basic principles (doctoral programmes for the European knowledge society), Salzburg II recommendations, as well as the European Qualifications Framework.
The workshop will be attended by representatives of the country’s Ministry of Education and Science, several universities, the National Academy of Sciences, specialised councils for awarding academic degrees, the Council of Young Scientists and PhD students.
The expert mission was organised by the European Commission’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX) in cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.
