Travellers from the European Neighbourhood to Europe may be interested to learn about a new communication campaign launched by the European Commission on consumer rights -#YourEURight.
Currently being rolled out across Europe, this digital-led campaign aims to raise awareness of key EU consumer rights and how to use them, with a series of striking visuals, targeted messaging and a pinch of humour.
The campaign is aimed at 18-35 year olds – the group with the lowest awareness of their rights, according to the EU. Besides social media advertising and short clips, the campaign includes over 40 events in 10 focus countries, a poster and digital ad campaign in transport hubs, a touring escape room game where consumers can ‘unlock their rights’ and cooperation with influencers.
The campaign will continue into 2020, with links to key consumer dates like Black Friday, Christmas, and the January sales.
