A temporary project officer to provide support to the rest of the team in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of EU – funded non – humanitarian assistance to Syria, aimed at mitigating the impact of the crisis on the Syrian people and supporting the identification and implementation of actions that provide the basis for resilience and a peaceful post – conflict recovery based on transparent, democratic and inclusive local processes.
The Officer will carry out his/her duties under the supervision of the Head of Development Cooperation Section. A good sense of priority setting, capacity to perform under stress and to deliver on short and overlapping deadlines, efficiency in organising the workload, team spirit, and sense of initiative are important elements for succeeding in this short – term assignment.
