This year’s Euro-Maghreb writers’ dialogue will focus on the ‘non-fiction novel’, a literary genre which depicts real historical figures and actual events woven together with fictitious conversations and using the storytelling techniques of fiction.

The annual dialogue between authors from Europe and the Maghreb, organised by the EU Delegation to Algeria, will take place at the Algiers Book Fair on 2 November.

Writers from Europe, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia will discuss the paradoxical genre, which explores the shadows between fact and fiction, between journalism and literature.
