A total of 42 representatives of 33 government departments of the Inter-ministerial Technical Committee of the Government Plan for Equality (GPE) participated in a 45-day training course on gender equality and results-based management organised jointly by the Moroccan Ministry for Family, Solidarity, Equality and Social Development and the Technical Assistance to the EU Support Programme for the implementation of the GPE.

This training cycle enabled to strengthen the capacities of actors, particularly members of the Inter-ministerial Technical Committee, for the coordination and effective monitoring of the GPE.

Adopted by the Government in June 2013, the Government Plan for Equality (GPE) “ICRAM” 2012-2016 is the reference document and intervention framework for the promotion of women’s rights to which the various actors and government partners refer.

The European Union, with a funding of 500 million dirhams, supports the implementation of the Government Plan for Equality (PGE) “ICRAM” 2012-2016.
