Within the framework of the EU-funded project “Development pillar in support of the Regional Programme for Development and Protection in North Africa”, implemented by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in Morocco, a series of training courses will be delivered to the students of the new Master “Media and Migration” launched by the Higher Institute of Information and Communication (ISIC) in Rabat.

The first training, to take place from 10 to 14 April, will focus on ‘Return Migration’ through the analysis of a range of priority issues such as different theories and typologies of return, migration and local development and the international legal framework.

This support will result in the organisation of various “master classes” for young aspiring journalists on themes that are closely related to migration. These sessions will be held in collaboration with prestigious European, African and even American universities or research centers.
