In order to achieve the growth and scalability of green start-ups, SwitchMed is organizing a match-making event where 8 Green Entrepreneurs and investors will meet and discuss about the main barriers and chances to access to green finance in Lebanon. Entrepreneurs will have also the chance to present their project to investors, get relevant feedback from them to find the right financial players. The event will be held in November 27th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Beirut Digital District.

The SwitchMed sustainable consumption and production programme aims to promote a switch by the Mediterranean economies towards sustainable consumption and production patterns and green economy, including low-emission development, through demonstration and dissemination of methods that improve resource and energy efficiency. It also seeks to minimise the environmental impacts associated with the life cycle of products and services and, where possible, to promote renewable energy.
